How the referral program works

Tell a friend, neighbour or family member
Know someone in Queensland who dislikes the taste of their tap water, or who is dealing with chlorine smell, limescale or tank water? Share your name with them, or send them your link below.

They book a free quote and mention your name
They get a free on-site water test and a fixed-price, no-obligation quote. They enter your name or code on the quote form, or tell us when we call.

You both get rewarded
Their discount comes off their fixed quote. Once their installation is complete and paid, we pay your reward by bank transfer or gift card within 14 days.
What you and your friend get
You earn $100 or $200 for each friend who has a system installed, and your friend gets $50 or $100 off their installation. The reward depends on the system they choose.

Recommending us is easy because there is no pressure and no surprise pricing. Every referred friend gets the same service you did:

- A fixed-price, no-obligation quote before any work starts
- Installation by licensed Queensland plumbers
- A 12-month workmanship warranty on every installation

Referral program terms
- The program is open to past QLD Water Filtration customers. We check the referrer against our customer records.
- The referred person must be a new customer who has not already requested a quote from us, and cannot be in the same household as the referrer.
- Rewards apply to installations of under-sink, reverse osmosis, whole-home, UV and water softener systems. They do not apply to filter replacements, the VIP Filter Care Club or water quality tests.
- The referrer earns $100 when the referred person installs an under-sink or reverse osmosis system, and $200 when they install a whole-home, UV or water softener system.
- The referred person receives $50 off an under-sink or reverse osmosis installation, or $100 off a whole-home, UV or water softener installation. The discount is applied to their fixed quote and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- The referral must be mentioned before the installation is booked. We cannot add a referral after the work is complete.
- The referrer's reward is paid by bank transfer or gift card within 14 days after the referred installation is completed and paid in full.
- There is no limit on the number of eligible referrals a customer can make.
- We may decline or reverse a reward if we reasonably believe a referral is not genuine, such as a referral made for the referrer's own property.
- QLD Water Filtration may change or end the program at any time. Referrals confirmed before any change keep their original reward.
Referral program: common questions
How much do I earn for referring a friend?
You earn $100 when your friend has an under-sink or reverse osmosis system installed, and $200 when they have a whole-home, UV or water softener system installed. Your friend gets $50 or $100 off their installation to match.
When do I get paid?
We pay your reward within 14 days of your friend's installation being completed and paid in full. You can choose bank transfer or a gift card.
Do I need to be a customer to refer someone?
Yes. The referral program is for past QLD Water Filtration customers. When your friend mentions your name, we check it against our customer records before confirming the reward.
Is there a limit on how many friends I can refer?
No. You earn a reward for every eligible installation you refer.
How does my friend claim their discount?
They fill in the quote form on this page and enter your name or referral code, or mention you when we call. The discount comes off their fixed quote before any work starts.
What if my friend forgets to mention me?
Call us on (07) 3523 3627 or email [email protected] before their installation is booked in and we will add the referral to their quote.
Which services count?
Installations of under-sink filtration, reverse osmosis, whole-home filtration, UV systems and water softeners. Filter replacements, the VIP Filter Care Club and water quality tests do not earn a reward.
